How did you discover blogging?
Much younger wanted to be a journalist when I was me. That was my dream. I was already composing when much younger had been about 10 years old. I wrote fiction stories that were a few in my own notebooks and I gave a few people and they read and they thought I was an excellent writer. I used to actually love seeing newscasters, individuals doing interviews, I used to look up to them so when I had been going to enter the University, Mass Communication is put in for by me but I didn’t get that course, I got English. So when I completed school, and I had become a model and I was known by folks as a model, it was very difficult for me personally to go back to back to truly being a journalist so I just moved on from there. But then I found blogging in 2006. Incidentally, it was Classified Directory Website. That has been the first time I ever saw a site. I didn’t understand what blogging was before then, I had never learned about it until somebody referred me to Bella’s website to go and see something she wrote about me, so I went there, I saw the narrative, I saw the opinions and I liked what I saw.

What was the site post around?
Just what exactly really inspired you to start your own personal blog?
From I said to myself one day plus then, I started reading her site, I can live my dream, put narratives together, tell people what is happening, that year so I created the blog. The site was created by me in 2006 but I actually began blogging early 2007.

What University did you attend and what did you do after graduating?
University of Lagos. I began my own business, Blackdove Communications after graduating in 2004. It is an event management and modeling agency firm. Much younger started modeling in 1998 and I quit in 2005. Much younger went behind the camera by running an agency, recruiting models, training models, getting jobs. I still have the modeling agency but I’m not running it anymore.

There were not so many Nigerians on the web in 2007 then as they are now. What was the traffic on your site like afterward?
You are right, but I still enjoyed it. I had been getting like 200 visits a day and for me afterward, it was a big deal, honestly.

What do you really think is responsible for this particular traffic?
Myself do not know, I suppose people only love what I do. And I’ve done some really contentious posts that gets people’s focus.

What has kept you going every one of these years?
The love as well as the passion I have for blogging, I must say I appreciate it. Much younger enjoy getting feedback and writing stories, getting individuals to react to it. I used to be really enthusiastic about it so I kept doing it.

When was the first time you made money out of your website?
2011 really. It took me four years to start making money . Myself never even thought that I’d earn money . Myself didn’t even think that was a possibility, it never even crossed my head. Much younger didn’t say to myself that OK let me blog now and perhaps in five years time, I will make money from it. I never imagined it would ever happen. Infact, on my website, I had been putting free advertisements in 2008, 2009, I had been telling my blog readers, please give your advertisements to me and they will be place by me free of charge. But then in 2010, people started asking me and I was like ‘really?’

How frequently would you blog?
Much younger blog every day. I strive as much as you can to blog every single day although if myself miss blogging that means something occurred to me or perhaps my laptop crashed. Myself spend some hours daily on the web.

Where do you source?
A wide range of places. Myself can’t tell you.

You’ve been on blogspot.com for quite time. Why have not you went to lindaikeji.com?
The domain name was chosen by some guy and I am not considering buying it because he’s telling me to pay thousands of dollars for it and I see no reason why I should do that.

Since you started blogging, a lot of people are inspired to start their very own sites. Can you feel intimidated by the competition?
Myself think competition is healthy. Much younger’ve been there longer than most of people and fortunately for me, I am along with all of them so I do not feel like I’m competing with anybody. There is enough space for anybody on top. Myself welcome any blogger that wants to come on board, I try and help as many folks as I can. I have a site list where people go from my website to other blogs.
How old are you?
31

Any regular reader of your website would understand some things about you which most folks would not call impersonal. As one of these, myself understand you’re single and hunting. Why can you share such private details together with your readers?
Everybody understands I am single. Much younger’m constantly saying it, I am desperate.

Don’t you think is too personal to share on a site where millions of people across the world can read?
Myself have absolutely no problem with sharing my private life with folks, that’s the way i am. Folks are shocked by it but that’s who I’m. It can’t be explained by me. It is only that if there is something going on with much younger, I do not mind sharing. There are lots of things myself do not share, and some things I do not mind sharing. If others possess an issue with it, much younger don’t have an issue with it.

The issue of female genital mutilation is something you have shared together with your readers and a few may believe it’s a bit too personal to be out there.
That’s not private, that’s something I will share with anybody. It’s like saying if you were raped then keep quiet. Lots of girls would keep quiet but I will not keep quiet, that’s the way i am. I don’t understand how to keep such things to myself, I must say it. Myself feel like you’ve one life to live, why would you go to your own grave with all those sort of advice.

When were you circumcised?
I don’t understand. Myself had been circumcised as a baby that is all.

Who cares. If it turns off them then they are not the individuals meant for much younger. It would turns on the person that’s meant for me.

Can you date someone younger than you?
No, never.

How about someone who does not earn as much money as you?
Yes I can. Exactly how many young men make the sort of cash I make? I might probably be doing the kind of money while, if I’m waiting for somebody who makes more than I make. There are plenty of guys who earn more than I earn but if I meet with someone who makes less than myself, that is fine, provided that he’s his own cash. However, not like a guy that is jobless, no, that won’t happen.

How much do you make monthly?
(Laughs) More cash than myself thought was possible.

Myself love blogging too much to be tired of it. Lots of individuals are trying to start blogging and I tell them, I am hoping you’re beginning it for the appropriate reasons, since if you are beginning it for the wrong motives, you are going to get bored and tired, and you’re going to move on. In the event you do it since you love it, you’d stay there for a while as you want to make money, but should you do it, after a while, you’d desire to proceed.

Do you run the site alone or do you have other people on your team?
Right now, myself’m doing it alone, but eventually I am likely to get people to help out. Maybe it is because I’m single and I don’t have that much responsibilities. Likely I get married and have children when, my time would be taken by other things so I had need individuals to work with me then but now I am loving doing it alone.

You’ve this skill to turn virtually anything into news. For instance, how can a celebrity buying a brand new automobile become gist?
The good writer place it for a place, also it comes back with more than 50 opinions, so is it not gist? Much younger do it deliberately because I understand that buying a car isn’t that a big deal, but if I put it, it becomes gist.

Why can you get really naughty, like putting up a post and you say ‘for men simply’?
My website is a fun blog. I do a variety of things. Much younger tell people, should you find it offensive, don’t come. I know that I have lots of male readers and I am a very mischievous, naughty person. So it’s just for fun. Many people take it too seriously and I actually don’t care about such individuals.
